Description

Designed for a couple moving from Queenstown to Cromwell, they wanted to ensure they had space for their visiting family and plenty of entertainments zones with a wine bar being number one on the wishlist.

The kitchen, utility zone behind, wine bar and multiple bathrooms were incorporated, whilst using polished concrete to give a real wow feeling, which was a practical choice for these cat lovers.

The finished home is flooded with plenty of light from the north side into the master and living zones with additional skylights and large sliders for outside access onto the timber decking.

The bespoke wine bar was inspired by one of the many vineyards in the region, and we utilised a local engineering firm and glass company to make the shelving and corten backsplash with a local joinery company to manufacture the cabinetry – a real focal point of this large entertaining home, softened by their scandi furniture choices and cozy tv zone.
