With nearly 40 years’ experience in the building industry, Design & Build Consultant Keith Johnston brings a wealth of practical knowledge, technical expertise and client-focused experience to his role.
Keith began his career in 1986, completing his initial carpentry training at polytechnic before undertaking a timber joinery apprenticeship. He gained his Trade Certificate in Joinery while working across all aspects of joinery, including kitchen coordination. He progressed to become a Joinery Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operation of a busy workshop, coordinating jobs and working closely with clients, contractors and trades to ensure projects met their requirements.
Keith then moved into new-home sales, spending 15 years guiding clients through the entire building journey — from their initial consultation through to the completion of their new home. This experience developed his strong passion for working with clients and a keen eye for detail, ensuring every stage of the process is managed with care.
With extensive experience across carpentry, joinery, sales, project management and construction, Keith brings a well-rounded understanding of the entire building process and a genuine commitment to delivering quality outcomes for clients.
