Building on a rocky outcrop…..these keen mountain bikers were just as keen on creating jumps from their driveway as they were to build a house!

Their need for an efficient Green Home was evident from early discussions, hating the cold and inconsistencies of temperature in previous homes was a key driver, so upgrading to Klima clip pvc windows was factored in to the design. Having zones suited to extended stays from guests as well as future rentals determined layout to make the most of the home with just two at home and opening up to visitors when required.

A fantastic view across the whole region wasn’t marred with the use of subtle tinting on the North facing windows and extended eaves to maintain the internal temperature.
