Description

This client designed home was elevated on the site to make the most of the view of the township, Lake Wakatipu and over to Coronet Peak in the distance.

A huge solid window framed the view with a window seat and of course, one at the kitchen sink! It was important to keep the frontage all living, so the garage is accessed at the rear, through a bright hallway to the bedrooms and storage. Polished concrete to a mid grind with high polish gave this young couple that touch of swankiness, with colourful bedrooms and cozy carpet creating great spaces for guests.

The cathedral ceiling clad in grooved ply in the living area created a wow feeling on arrival with their unique touches of pink to the kitchen tile and rattan to give the scandi feel. It was all about futureproofing for this couple, and the energy efficiency of our standard builds has given them the perfect balance of style and functionality.
