Aptly named on the salubrious Blondie Drive in the recently converted vineyard to housing development.

The clients wanted a home oozing with tranquility and their preference for a calming colour palette and natural materials throughout created the final ethereal feel. This need might be in contrast to the other main requirement of the home, to be a key meeting and entertainment space for family and friends from far and wide, and also as a place to celebrate wine – with a huge kitchen zone, functional separated utility and pantry areas, cocktail bar and a wine display art installation. The clients not only trusted our recommendations when it came to flooring, but went all out and used the coloured concrete application – microtopping – on all floors and into bathrooms and all the walls.

This created a soft and textured look throught, like a mediterranean hideway. Smart Wifi controlled sytems were a must to control the underfloor heating in addition to ducted heated and cooling – coupled with an ultra low emission woodburner, the home is futureproofed for any climatic needs and can be set to required temperature for visitors, even if the homeowners are on the other side of the world – this includes a pinpad entry system to make sure the visitors can get in to enjoy this marvellous home!
